Keep collecting those Box Tops!
Please put your box tops in a baggie or an envelope with your homeroom teacher's name, grade, and section so the class can get the proper credit!
You can drop the box tops in the mail box labeled "Box Tops" in the front hallway, leave them at the front office, or K-5 can give them to their child’s homeroom teacher.
Box Tops may be found on many household items that you already use such as flour, biscuits, cake mixes, cereals, yogurt, Ziploc bags, Avery products and many other items.
Go to http://www.boxtops4education.com for lists of items that have Box Tops.
Why YOU Should Get Involved
Research shows that when parents or guardians are involved in their children's education, the children are more likely to:
earn better grades.
score higher on tests.
pass their classes.
attend school regularly.
have better social skills.
show improved behavior.
be more positive in their attitude toward school.
complete homework assignments.
graduate and continue their education.
The reasons that parent and guardian involvement increases student success are many—in itself, simply letting a child know you care and are invested enough to be involved in his or her day-to-day school life sends a clear message about the value of school and education.
Your involvement also directly helps increase the quality of your child's school. Without parent and guardian involvement, the school also can't provide extra activities like Homecoming, Fall Fest, Picnics and Family Fun Nights...all events we have planned for this year! Any amount of time is greatly appreciated, even a few hours over the course of the entire year can make a huge difference!
The PTO raises funds to help the school and to continue to provide fun activities like A/R parties & prizes, senior scholarships, etc.
Check out the Ongoing Fundraising page for more information on how to help your child's school and save money all year long! And you can still order Primo Coffee & Tea online and have it shipped directly to your home.
